Tenerife Excursions

Tenerife is blessed with an amazing variety of activities ensuring there is something to suit every holidaymaker regardless of age or taste.

The most popular excursions and activities are shown in this section, many with a direct link to their own website.

The Island is awash with excursion agencies so it is possible to book directly with the host operator on line or through an agency located close to your holiday destination.

You can obtain special deals from some attraction operators.  For example Loro Park and Siam Park offer a discounted double ticket as do Aqualand and Jungle Park.  Most attractions also offer free transportation from selected locations within the Resort areas.

Monkey Park

Monkey Park is located just off the TF-1 approximately 5 minutes from Los Cristianos. Although not as big as Loro Parque and Jungle Park, the Monkey Park is a favourite with visitors. You won’t find fancy gift shops and restaurants here, and all the money made from entrance fees and the sale of monkey food is put back into the Park. If you love animals, particularly monkeys, then the Monkey Park is definitely worthy of a visit.

Dolphins and Whales

If you love dolphins and whales, then there are several boat excursions that leave from the Marina at Puerto Colon in Playa de las Americas and from the Port at Los Cristianos, including catamarans, pirate boats and glass bottom boats. Sail into the open waters and watch as the dolphins play alongside the boats, and keep your eyes open for the whales. A must for all dolphin and whales fans!
